Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State visited the Shuwa and Kirchinga communities in Madagali Local Government Area (LGA) to assess the severe damage caused by recent flooding. The disaster has led to the destruction of a major highway connecting Michika and Madagali LGAs, extensive property damage, and the tragic loss of lives.
During his visit, Governor Fintiri expressed deep concern over the devastating impact of the flood on these communities. “As a responsible government, we will rise to the occasion and take swift action, just as we have always done in the past, to support and rebuild these communities,” the Governor assured the affected residents.
The Governor’s visit underscores the state’s commitment to providing immediate relief and initiating reconstruction efforts to restore normalcy to the lives of those impacted by the disaster.
